The project seeks to enhance the present by reviving memories of the past, promoting environmental, cultural, and food & wine tourism. The connection between past and present will provide the foundation for a future Tourism Development Plan for the Martesana — one that could foster inclusive growth by engaging the “canal-side” territories, communities, and municipalities, that is, those directly overlooking the canal or closely linked to it, in a shared path toward sustainable development.

Innovation becomes a key tool in enabling an authentic connection with the environment, promoting a more mindful use of local heritage and greater accessibility to its content.
